Tragically, his body was later discovered by law enforcement. The exact cause of death remains unclear, but authorities described his injuries as "gruesome."

The suspects, now identified as Carlos Jose Hernandez and another unnamed individual, were caught on the home’s security camera dressed in utility uniforms, masks, and holding a clipboard, effectively playing the role of utility workers to gain trust. Hernandez has been charged with murder, and authorities are seeking the extradition of the second suspect.
