
Los Angeles authorities are searching for a man who brazenly stabbed a woman in broad daylight in East Hollywood, an attack that was caught on surveillance footage and has left the community shaken.
The incident occurred around noon on January 18 near Santa Monica Boulevard and Edgemont Street. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the suspect approached the victim from behind as she walked with two others before suddenly stabbing her multiple times in the back.
Nearby security cameras captured the horrifying moment, showing the suspect drawing a weapon before launching the attack. After stabbing the woman twice, the man fled the scene, running toward the Vermont/Santa Monica Metro station.
