Three Arrested in Series of Violent "Follow-Away" Robberies That Shook Southern California

In a chilling series of events that recently unfolded across Southern California, three suspects have been arrested for a string of violent “follow-away” robberies. The Los Angeles Police Department has identified Nhazel Warren, 19, Chazon Brown, 28, and Isaiah Moore, 32, as the individuals allegedly responsible for multiple brutal robberies in which victims were targeted and attacked after being followed from various locations.

One such incident occurred on September 19 in Woodland Hills. A male victim was assaulted in a parking lot on Mulholland Drive, where he was forcefully pinned to the ground as the suspects tore away his jewelry. Another attack followed on October 23, this time on Ventura Boulevard in Woodland Hills. The victim was ambushed after arriving at a business and robbed at gunpoint by two suspects who exited a black BMW sedan, stripping him of his valuables before fleeing.

The LAPD’s intensive investigation led to the capture of Brown and Moore on October 24. Evidence seized during the arrest included two semiautomatic pistols, linking the men to the crimes. Later that night, Warren was apprehended in Long Beach. Despite being on a GPS ankle monitor from previous felony charges, Warren managed to post bond and was released on October 29, underscoring concerns about public safety and the potential for repeat offenses.

Police believe that many victims of the trio may still be unidentified, prompting the release of the suspects’ photographs in hopes that others will come forward. The LAPD is urging anyone with information or who may have been a victim to contact Detectives Mrakich and Delph at 213-486-6840 or email rhdtipline@lapd.online.

As the Los Angeles community absorbs the impact of these violent incidents, it serves as a somber reminder of the importance of vigilance and safety awareness in day-to-day activities.
