Robbery at LA Smoke Shop Leads to Lamborghini Chase and Arrests

Lamborghini pursuit ends with 2 arrests news headline

In a story that sounds straight out of a Hollywood thriller, two suspects were arrested following a violent robbery and high-speed chase involving a yellow Lamborghini Urus late Thursday night in Los Angeles.

According to LAPD reports, two videographers were lured to the Hubci smoke shop on Melrose Avenue under the pretense of shooting a music video. When they arrived around 9 p.m., the situation took a dangerous turn. Instead of finding a production crew, the victims were met by armed suspects who pistol-whipped them, stole firearms and jewelry, and left them with serious injuries. One victim reportedly lost several teeth, while the other sustained a significant cut to the head.

After the robbery, police said the suspects fled the scene in two vehicles: a yellow Lamborghini Urus and a black BMW. LAPD officers quickly tracked the Lamborghini to the San Fernando Valley, initiating a pursuit that lasted approximately 40 minutes. The chase crossed jurisdictional lines and involved multiple agencies, including California Highway Patrol and Ventura County sheriff's deputies.

The suspects were eventually apprehended in Santa Rosa Valley, where two individuals were taken into custody. The identities of the arrested suspects have not yet been released. Meanwhile, authorities continue to search for the remaining suspects, including those who escaped in the black BMW.

LAPD officials stated that eight suspects were involved in total, with one reportedly being Chicago-based rapper Lil Zay Osama.

As the investigation continues, police are urging anyone with information about the outstanding suspects to come forward.
