Man robbed at gunpoint in driveway of New York home

A 55-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint in the driveway of his home in Clay Tuesday afternoon, deputies said.

Around 3:30 p.m., police received reports of a robbery at 1212 Allen Road in Clay, said Sgt. Jon Seeber, a spokesperson for the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office.

The robbery occurred in the driveway of the man’s single-family home, Seeber said. The suspect displayed a gun and deputies found evidence of the gun being fired, Seeber said

The man was not injured, Seeber said.

The suspect stole cash and was seen leaving in a grey or silver vehicle, Seeber said.

The incident is under investigation
