Home Invasion in Venice CA - Burglar Armed with Semi-automatic Handgun

VENICE - The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) is investigating a home invasion that took place Wednesday night.

The burglary took place around 9 p.m. at the 800 block of Nowita Place in Venice, according to LAPD.

Police responded to a reported burglary in progress and discovered an intruder had entered the home with a semi-automatic handgun, allegedly stealing a wristwatch.

The suspect is described as a black male 5’10” wearing a blue and white jacket carrying a duffle bag.

Reports on the scene indicated there may have been a second intruder but no evidence has been found to confirm that.
