In a shocking broad-daylight crime, a U.S. Postal Service worker was robbed while delivering mail in the Valley Village neighborhood of Los Angeles on March 20, 2025. The incident, which was caught on camera, has left residents concerned about the increasing brazenness of such crimes.

Security footage shows two suspects dressed in black hoodies rushing out of a white Honda sedan before confronting the letter carrier. In a matter of seconds, they forcibly took an item from the postal worker before fleeing back to their waiting getaway car, where a third suspect was behind the wheel.

Authorities have linked this robbery to two other attempted crimes targeting letter carriers in nearby Sherman Oaks and Tarzana. The suspects, described as young Hispanic males wearing face masks, remain at large. The U.S. Postal Inspection Service has issued a warning urging the public not to approach the suspects, emphasizing that they should be considered dangerous.

In response to the crime spree, the Postal Inspection Service is offering a reward of up to $150,000 for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.

This alarming incident raises concerns about the safety of essential workers and the growing trend of targeted robberies.
